📢 Help Shape Our Newsletter's Future!
Don't miss this chance to be a part of our newsletter's exciting developments!
One of my goals for the second half of the year was to make this newsletter even more community-driven and inclusive for all our subscribers, both free and paid. Today is one of those special moments when I can pull back the curtain and offer each one of you a backstage pass. Your engagement and feedback are so important, and I'm excited to let you have a voice in the future of our newsletter.
First, I want to invite all of you to participate in choosing next week's topic. Whether you are a free subscriber or a paid one, your opinion matters. I have carefully curated three promising options, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on which one resonates with you the most.
If you’re a paid subscriber, you’ll also get the opportunity to help shape the future look of the newsletter. I have commissioned a new logo that we’ll start using next year. And here's the best part - your input matters here too! Help me decide which logo design best represents our community.
So, whether you are a longtime paid subscriber or a free subscriber just getting started with us, your voice is what makes this community so vibrant. Thank you for being part of this remarkable community. You’ll find out the winning topic next Monday and I’ll announce the winning logo design in a future newsletter.
Behind-the-Scenes: Pick Next Week's Article
Let's talk about next week's topic. The past few weeks have been a bit hectic, but I actually have a few articles saved in my drafts. It seemed as though the past two weeks had some really great stories, and I couldn’t really nail down which idea was the best one to send out.
I now have three exciting topics in the pipeline, and want to give you a say in what topic you most want to see on Monday:
Option 1: "The Soaring Price of Postage" - We'll explore a few possible reasons why the price of postage stamps in the United States has risen faster than inflation over the past few decades.
Option 2: "The PGA-LIV Golf Merger" - We look at the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merger from an economic perspective and talk about why it wasn’t all that surprising of an outcome.
Option 3: "The FTC's New Merger Rules" - The Federal Trade Commission wants to change its rules on mergers, but what does it mean for companies and consumers like you?
Cast your vote for next week’s topic by clicking on the subscriber-exclusive poll below. Your vote will determine the upcoming topic, so don't miss this opportunity to be part of the decision-making process!
The poll will be open for only three days, so vote now so I can start putting the finishing touches on our community’s favorite topic.
If your vote isn’t the one for Monday, don’t worry! I believe that these are three topics that could be posted at any time over the next few weeks. While they may not come out in back-to-back weeks, they will come out eventually. If another big news topic comes out, I might squeeze that into the mix.
The 2024 Logo: Help Me Pick!
But that's not all - I’ve got a visual treat for you too! I’m excited to announce that I’ve commissioned a new logo for next year. As a subscriber-supported newsletter, I want you to have a say in helping pick the final design.
I’ve narrowed down the submissions to five different options for you to consider:
