Week 36 is over and I’m up to 38 books for the year. I recently finished a brief history of the whiskey rebellion and a discussion of the craft whiskey industry over the past few decades. Overall, the book was interesting but I wish it would have covered more of the recent trends in greater depth than it did.
If you’re looking for a neat book that goes into detail about trends in popular beverages, I would highly recommend A History of the World in 6 Glasses. It was published in 2006 and includes a lot of great information on beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea, and Coca-Cola.
