Week 26 is over and I’m up to 25 books for the year. I finished up a recent release I picked up at Barnes & Noble a couple of weeks back on the history of the tomato–Ten Tomatoes that Changed the World. It was a really fascinating look at 10 different varieties of tomatoes and their implications for things like canning and exports, pizza and spaghetti, and even ta little history of the Heinz corporation.
