I’ve still been riding the high of watching my alma mater (Sam Houston State) win the FCS National Championship last weekend. I’ve already bought shirts, coffee cups, and a flag! But I actually waffled on whether to go at all because of the cost of travel. The FCS semi-finals were Saturday, May 8th and an SHSU win would mean they would play in the championship game on Sunday, May 16th. I bought my tickets the Friday night before the semi-final matchup just in case I needed to cancel the tickets and get my money back. Thankfully, I didn’t cancel them.
